Slock: Go Sleep / Clock design

Slock: Go Sleep
Slock: Go Sleep

Slock is designed to tap into the software glitch in us which makes us yawn when we see someone yawn! Inspired by this contagious phenomenon, Slock: Go Sleep is a clock with a twist on the traditional alarm clock with functionality that’s actually quite the opposite.
Instead of waking you up with a blaring alarm sound, it encourages you to get to bed at a decent hour each night by making you yawn. Simply set your desired bedtime and a built-in mechanical flipbook will play an animation of a character yawning at the same time as an audio clip of a yawn plays. This encourages the person to yawn and prepares them for bed-time.
