Romani Tales / Picture book

Romani Tales

The problem of education in my country, Bosnia and Herzegovina, lies mostly in the minorities, especially Rom children who sometimes don't even get the primary education even though its obligatory. The reason behind this is, among others, the discrimination they receive from other children. To combat this, I have decided to create a picture book that would be given out to children in schools and teach them about Rom culture. This would help show the Rom people in a better light. It would be written in Bosnian for easier reading and so that Rom children can practice the language used in the schools.
