Eradicating WASH diseases / Provide safe drinking water

The population of Namunkanaga depend on surface water sources (streams) for drinking water supply, and the area has been the origin of outbreak of diarrhea diseases.
Women/girls have to walk several hours to collect water each day.
Girls are forced to collect water at night so as dodge the long queues during day time, but selfish men defile them during the traverse
Several households defecate in the open and run-off water carries human excreta into the open water sources that community drink thereby increasing spread of diseases.
Since 2016, our CBO started protecting open water sources from faecal contamination so as improve water quality
