BIDIBIDI REFUGEE FILTERS / Access to Clean Water

1500 Purifaaya ceramic water filters were distributed to families and installed in Zone 3 of the BidiBidi Refugee settlement to enable residents access to clean water for 2 years (filter life). Villages in Zone 3 had the highest number of people with special needs whose life is very vulnerable and prone to waterborne diseases. These impacted approximately 13,500 people. Another 250 regular and 5XL filters were installed in schools and health centers impacting over 20,000 individuals visiting these public spaces. After 6 months, 150 regular and 5 XL filters were installed in another community in the settlement.
