Village Women Enterprise / Tackling economic inequality

Village Women Enterprise
Village Women Enterprise

We are running a Photography & Videography apprenticeship scheme in Nigeria, where we aim to directly empower 100 young adults annually to become photographers or videographers through a 6-month training course. Supervised by Ripples, Students will undertake practical sessions and theoretical classes. Once completing the course, we will offer our women a start-up loan for their project. Once the business is self-reliant, women enjoy a sense of value. They payback the start-up loan to Ripples and this resource is used to kickstart a business in another village, creating a ripple effect of commerce across small communities.
