Sanad / Suppoting children & youth without parental care

Sanad meaning Support in Arabic was launched in 2015 to enhance the quality of care provided to children and youth without parental care through creating successful institutional homes models in applying the Quality Standards. In 2014, Wataneya together with INGOs in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Solidarity succeeded in developing the final version of the National Quality Standards for Institution homes. The standards consist of 300 indicators divided into six main pillars, namely child protection, integrated childcare, staffing, management and documentation, professional practices, and building and facilities.
