Solar What?! / Sustainable solar lighting

Solar What?!
Solar What?!

Off-grid solar products bring many benefits to those living in energy poverty, but when disposed of prematurely and improperly they represent significant material and energy waste. Solar What?! challenges this waste, offering a solar product with adaptability and sustainability at its core. Research based, it is designed around existing repair cultures, ensuring continued access to energy for the user. Solar What?! reuses solar panels, utilises locally available batteries, and is easy to disassemble and repair with common tools. We believe that providing affordable, clean energy can also promote responsible design, production and consumption.
