PLUSMODO is the name of the new kitchen architecture created for Poggenpohl by the renowned Spanish designer Jorge Pensi. It is a powerful, poetic dialogue between displaying and concealing. PLUSMODO is characterised by the novel presentation of open and closed functional areas: Pensi places pull-out trays directly below the solid-looking, 13 cm thick worktop, thus opening up the previously enclosed base unit space. This creates a new transparency and lightness, as well as strongly emphasizing the horizontals. This effect is heightened by the atmospheric lighting concept used in PLUSMODO.
