Why we made these things

About three years ago, when this project was in the early research phase, we came to an obvious yet critical insight that became the guiding star for the whole range:

As the palette of materials for kitchen designers grows broader, moving away from the monolithic, the uniform and the glossy, should we not as an appliance manufacturer create an offering that embraces this notion? Something that is understated, subtle, which blends in and compliments its surroundings, rather than competing with it. Is that not the very essence of sophistication, of confidence? To speak with a quiet voice, but in powerful terms.
