Literacy to Empower / Learning Aids for Kibera Kids

The Rainbow School, Kibera Slum, Nairobi, Kenya offers free and wholistic education for improvished children in the community. Our purpose is that each child would be empowered through the process of learning. Our goal is for each student to have the opportunity to master the skills of reading, writing and developing social awareness. In addition to academics we are greatly concerned about the nutritional well being of our students thus we provide for them breakfast and lunch. Lastly, on a seasonal basis we provide for the children needed clothing items. The Rainbow School actively pursues a relationship with our students caregivers.
