Discipline: Communication

jung und pfeffer’s website does not use motion, Flash or complex menu structures. It has an intentionally reductionist design.
The starting point for this design was the self-imposed constraint that only HTML elements could be used in the design. However the options supported by HTML were to be exploited to the hilt and reinterpreted. So, radio buttons turn into pictures and words, and alert boxes become pop-up windows. The website consciously plays with the user’s habits, creating an esthetic drawn entirely from the medium itself.
