PURIFY ARK / Transportation concept for oil spills rescue


Once oil platforms explode or oil tankers hit the rocks, millions of tons of oil will spill into the sea causing severe damage to the marine ecosystem. Therefore, to save lives and recover the environment from oil pollution is a race against time.
Currently, the way we deal with oil spills requires several types of equipment which take times to arrive and operate. Plus, chemical treatments are not eco-friendly to the ocean. Thus, we combine oil booms, disc skimmers, and oil-eating bacteria into one vehicle to make the whole process more efficient. Furthermore, the oil dissolved by bacteria will turn into electricity to power up Purify Ark.
