ReChord / Finger musical instrument


ReChord is a self-powered, co-played finger musical instrument with minimum FOMO and maximum fun.
By applying touch sensors, the modularized chord becomes a musical instrument that emits sound according to the finger position where players touch. Through playing ReChord, people will compose pentatonic harmony via simply flipping the string, immersed in a relaxing atmosphere. This is the resurrection of a cultural heritage, a redesign of musical instrument, and rediscovery of a social activity. ReChord adheres to digital tangible principle, generating piezoelectricity and tactile interaction to recall the nature of touching and fun for music.
