Das Ende des Schweigens

Hessischer Rundfunk Anstalt des öffentlichen Rechts
It was not until the Frankfurt Auschwitz trials, which took place from 1963 to 1965, that the world first learned all the details involving the mass murders and crimes committed at the Auschwitz extermination camp. The End of Silence is a multimedia web special that documents statements made by Holocaust survivors and the attempts by the accused to defend themselves. Sixty-seven interactive collages of texts, sounds and images allow the seemingly incomprehensible to be experienced in a website whose unvarnished confrontation with the material produces an intense and emotional experience.
