Violence and crimes caused by idleness and unemployment have become a norm in our societies and young people who makeup 70% of Cameroons population are the most vulnerable. The Creative Skills for Peace Project seeks to reduce crimes and violence among young people in Cameroon by engaging with prisons, correction facilities to provide vocational training, build their self esteem and create more decent jobs for young violent offenders. Through this initiative over 200 young offenders have been trained across 8 correction facilities on skills like converting tires to shoes, greenhouse farming, pottery and some reconciled with loved ones
