For the dynamic car presentation of the Volkswagen Fox, the new youngster within the Volkswagen Family, eventlabs created in spring 2005 the Project FOX in Copenhagen, a cultural, three-week event with young artists, involving the cars target group.
For this purpose, eventlabs created the Hotel FOX, in which the invited journalists stayed for the night. Within three months, 21 international artists had turned the old 3-star hotel into one of the leading design hotels for young urban travellers. After the event, it was resumed by the owners who continued running the Hotel FOX under the same name and according to the Volkswagen vision.
In addition to the Hotel FOX, two temporary, public venues were created:
1. Studio FOX was an open workspace for seven groups of artists, who set up artistic installations with the VW Fox. Studio FOX also served as a media workstation for the journalists and an exhibition hall open to the Copenhagen public.
2. Club FOX was an experimental gastronomic environment and also a club location for local and international live-acts.
