For us, 70 years after his typographical main works, designing a Bill catalog doesnt mean imitating Bills design concept, but translating it into a contemporary form. For the differentiation between text pages and picture pages we chose different types of paper, and within the layout we developed a clear, strongly structured typography. The width of Bills work as painter, designer, sculptor and architect is expressed in large-sized lines of writing that, in the book introduction, run off the page format and are cited in the individual chapters as introductions or closings.
