MELMAX FARM FRESH / Sustainable farming for Africa

MELMAX FARM FRESH is a farming venture with an on-site largescale chili pepper plantation that provides mass employment to young people in rural Kitui County on a consistent basis. We also run an advocacy and training program that targets the youth and smallholder farmers in rural Kenya to enlighten them on the need to make the shift to sustainable farming methods. From the training, we get the smallholder farmers to plant chilies for MELMAX FARM FRESH in an out-growers model that ensures that they get more money from the farming activities. We use irrigation to mainatin production throughout the year and this ensures more income from farming
