Making Cycling Better / Increasing cycling modal share

Dublin City Council partnered with See.Sense on the world’s largest connected bike light data trial. Over 500 cyclists volunteered to collect crowdsourced data using See.Sense lights to help their city gain data driven insights on how to improve the conditions for cycling in the city through cycle infrastructure and policy. These insights include road surface quality, journey locations, and collisions. Furthermore, the project included a broad range of cyclists including women and different age groups. This project laid the groundwork for new and expanded projects currently underway in multiple cities to help get more people cycling.
