KSP aims to provide sustainable literacy skills to adolescent girls who have not previously received any formal education .Its a 12 month , in-house designed holistic literacy program run in village or hamlets based centers, for 25-30 girls at each center , using local women teacher . The aim of KSP is to make each girl confident, have an enhanced self esteem be able to express herself by having the ability to read & write. The literacy imparted and acquisition of literacy, numeracy and basic education provides them a better understanding of life , makes resources accessible, making them better prepared to take care of themselves & others.
