Hybrio Design did a pro-bono project to design a drop-in centre for the homeless in Brussels. This group of people do not always have a safe place to clean-up, so it was important to address their needs and create a welcoming environment and proper flow for using the space. Users enter a welcome area where they can consult a calendar of events, utilise a lounge area and check-in their belongings in order to access the shower and wellness area. Lockers of different sizes were designed for the homeless to be able to leave their belongings. The centre includes a launderette and an area dedicated to medical and psychological care.
