As an adaptive solution, this intervention built capacities among marginal climate vulnerable communities in flood prone coastal areas of India and Bangladesh in flood resilient agriculture by farming practices in slim-soil over floating trays made of bamboos and hydro-foam, which is being supported with solar micro-irrigation and integrated with aquaculture in fish pens and cages for sustainability, in flood inundated areas. This has augmented community resilience through food security in days of distress and alternative livelihood for climate victims. It is furthered by strengthening women led local institutions and financial inclusion.
