In order to address food insecurity in the country, DADREG understands the need to engage women and youth to be involved in modern farming methods as one way of addressing poverty and food insecurity that affects mostly women and children. Through this project, women were trained to undertake modern farming methods to produce more food for consumption & for sale. Women are supported with funds to buy quality seeds & hire land as women don't own land due to cultural beliefs that contribute to poverty & food insecurity that affects women & children.
