Ghana Gain through Grain

Bonzaali LLC is a social enterprise founded by two Peace Corps Volunteers in Northern Ghana. These two volunteers saw an opportunity to increase income, nutritional availability, improve environmental practices, and generate capital (15-40% returns) to be reinvested in communities. The premise of the business is grain distribution, which has never been done before on a large scale in this area of Ghana. The business offers guaranteed buyers to farmers at fair prices, stores the grain in a local food safe warehouse, and sells the grain to local families and schools in the area allowing schools to educate their students 45 more days annually.
