The Breitbanddesign design agency’s corporate identity is based on two key aspects: target-oriented development competence and anchorage in a local network. Designed for enhanced clarity and high recognition, this CI concept projects both of these aspects onto all communication media (stationery, business cards, CDs, CD jewel cases, press kits etc.). The idea of belonging to a network is the operative principle behind all procedures at Breitbanddesign. As a kind of lifeblood, it makes the agency’s home base of Cologne at once a motif and firm component of its corporate identity. This approach includes greeting cards that are deliberately “clichéd” and an agency website, www.breitbanddesign.de, that is not only available in German and English but also in the local, Cologne dialect. This communicates the agency’s identification with the local community, at the same time drawing attention from far and wide.
