SoleLuna at The Retreat at Blue Lagoon Iceland / Lighting solution

The idea behind the Sole-Luna light system was to bring the enchantment of natural Icelandic light into the guest rooms and create effects similar to sunlight and moonlight. The lights are mounted behind a Clipso acoustic ceiling. The light filters through the ceiling membrane softening the emitted light with no glare. Since the fixture is completely integrated, there are no visible mounting components on the ceiling. A small panel inserted into the bedhead controls the various lighting effects: Relaxing, Energizing, Day, and Night. Sole-Luna can also be programmed with a wake-up call to wake up guests gently and gradually by light.
