Navigating at vital speeds through heavy pedestrian traffic, it is no wonder that there are an estimated 6,500 ambulance related accidents each year. The Virtual Reality Emergency Vehicle concept allows ambulance drivers and medics to train in an ultra-realistic VR simulator. The VREV simulator will imitate the twists, turns, vibrations and sudden stops experienced in a real ambulance. Its function is like a flight simulator and allows emergency responders to prepare for hazardous situations before facing them.
