Discipline: Communication

The communication brief: To create a homage to Hans Paetsch. The solution: Hans Paetsch was one of the twentieth century’s best-known narrators of fairytales in German. The artist Andreas Baier was commissioned by BMG Ariola Classics to compile an audio CD entitled “The Fairytale Prince” featuring Hans Paetsch narrating and singing traditional fairytales and contemporary children’s stories set to classical music. An important part of promoting the CD has been the project’s website, which also serves as a home base for the Hans Paetsch fan club. The website, implemented entirely in Flash, offers numerous excerpts from Paetsch’s recordings, accompanied by amusing animations – wherever you look there is something new to discover.
