SWIM-VR can facilitate children with the active situation-handling by exercising their cognition and bodies. The immersion-type experience helps children learn how to swim through the game, as well as inspires their motivations and confidence for swimming. Once movements acquired in the game can be traced by muscles, children will enjoy more in the real situations. SWIM-VR can imitate the drowning situation, where people can practice helping themselves in a risk-less way. Moreover, the real drowning emergency can be tackled with cool-headedly after multiple practices in the virtual reality.
