“60+ Old Habits – New Technology” is made up of four products that are assigned different aspects: With a main focus on communications, there is a high-tech adaptation of a conventional picture frame that conveys personal messages; Mobility as an intellectual commodity is used here on an electronic magnifying glass with zoom and scanner functions; Time is represented in the form of an analogue clock, which uses an interface to convert appointments noted down by hand into a display memory and has a reminder function. In the category for Security, allowances are made for the forgetfulness that comes with old age: keys or locks make use of a red-green signal concept to indicate whether or not the house/apartment door has been securely locked.
