"be in balance!" / Interior bathroom design

Lebens(t)räume 2005

Lebens(t)räume 2005

Special mention - 200 Euro

This design is based on the interplay of an architecturally variable room that dissolves the difference between exterior and interior. The bathroom of the future is more than a bathroom, representing instead a practical, mobile home unit that comprises two sliding modules that interlock at a 90-degree angle. This allows for the integration of a shower, a sliding seat, a washbasin, a treadmill placed on the balcony, a refrigerator, a bathtub and vertically adjustable cabinets as well as an emergency call unit.
