Solo is an audiophile product for the lifestyle market. The approach is industrial design, not just product styling; exuding, refined good taste.
The design has certain key features. The fascia and cover are part of the same design, with hidden fixings. The buttons, CD drawer and LCD, have a straightforward rationale, being combined into a single element, with the first point of contact, the on/off button, drawing most attention; as a result Solo has an appearance that is justifiable and individual.
The engineers at Arcam achieved a level of performance they didnt expect, with a superb user interface and the quality of manufacture exceeding expectations. From an industrial design point of view Solo is, as its name suggests, individual.
