At the moment, a common method to feed baby tablets is to: firstly, grind tablets into fine powder; then put powder into a measuring cup and dissolve it with water; finally using a syringe to feed baby with the solution. This approach not only involves multiple tools, but also the medication powder will be transferred several times, which increases the risk of medication wastage and contamination. In the end, all tools used during this process need to be cleaned, which can add extra work and can be unsanitary as well. We designed a feeding syringe to combine grinding, dissolving as well as feeding to deal with this problem.
