The bicycle lamp is driven by the wind energy produced by a running bicycle that stores the power into a lithium battery to supply a low-power, high-brightness LED (DC voltage 3.4V, 50mA of as high as 500cd/m2). When the bicycle goes at a speed of 21km/h (6 m/sec), the high-efficiency micro wind generator runs at 850 rpm, producing continuous power of 3.5V, 70mA to supply the LED and to recharge the lithium battery. The lamp can easily be installed on all tubular-frame bicycles and guarantees uninterrupted illumination without the need to replace the battery. With this, this environmentally-friendly product helps to reduce consumption and disposal of batteries.
