Baby Mate / Monitor Design Concept

Baby Mate

Baby Mate is a new baby monitor developed to aid new parents with child care. There are three main functions: Monitoring, Sleep Cycle Aid, and a calming White Noise generator. Equipped with a camera, Baby Mate can monitor the child and alert the parents if the baby is upset. Babies need to sleep 12-16 hours in their earliest years. In these years, babies have yet to develop a sleep cycle. Sleep Cycle Aid uses a sunlight simulator with a timer to calmly wake the child if it has slept too long, which in return gives the baby a sense of routine. The White Noise generator calms the baby when upset and helps it go back to sleep.
