The innovative energy-efficient household appliance „StayHot“ is a boon to everyone who loves to consciously enjoy a tasty HOT drink like tea or coffee. But just being distracted by a phone call means that our favourite hot beverage cools down, getting distasteful. The solution to this problem is the temperature-controlled inductive cup warmer system, consisting of two parts: First, the inductive base station with a pyroelectric sensor that measures the infrared light radiated from the ceramic cup which represents the actual fluid temperature inside the cup. Second, the novel cup with an integrated ferromagnetic plate for induction heating.
