This 2-minute animated video shows how thoughts can become visible on different levels. Thoughts usually jump from one to another, are interrupted by multiple associations and triggered by various sensations.
The film is based on Thought Tracks, a 50-part series of drawings by Daniela Kammerer. The viewer is able to empathize with the emotions depicted in the drawings.
This collaboration with experimental filmmaker Stefanie Sixt creates an unusual transcendence from the analogue to the digital. The artistic implementation of the animation concretizes the thinkers inner world.
The wording and typography manifest his or her thoughts, making the abstract legible.
