The Light Phone is designed to encourage people to live in the moment. The value of the Light Phone lies not just in the phone itself, but also in the experience of going light and leaving behind your smartphone. The designers decided to use the packaging as an opportunity to remind the user of the philosophy behind the Light Phone, to inspire and encourage. They decided to make a book; a book of photographs taken while "going light". It is these light trips that lead you to the Light Phone itself, a reminder that the Light Phone is about enjoying quality time alone or with loved ones without distraction.
