The Beko Combi Steam Oven with TFT display allows for steam cooking, conventional cooking and a combination of both. Steam cooking is a healthy option for the consumer since it does not necessarily require oil, butter, etc. to cook and uses steam only. Also, more vitamins and minerals are retained in the food during steam cooking. For instance, broccoli retains 81% of its vitamins with steam cooking whereas it retains only 30% of its vitamins when boiled in water. Additionally, it loses only 11% of its flavor with steam cooking whereas it loses 66% when boiled in water.
