IQOS is a reduced-harm smoking device that heats tobacco rather than burning it. It uses sophisticated electronics to generate a vapor which provides a similar experience to cigarette smoking, but contains significantly lower levels of harmful chemicals. IQOS features a slim, light design with high quality finishes and a distinct shape to enhance the sensory experience. The IQOS is the result of over a decade of research and development. A gold, platinum and ceramic heating blade, combined with sophisticated firmware, ensures that the specially designed tobacco units are heated to controlled temperatures far below that of combustion.
