The IBM Wireless Handheld Device is a custom-designed, small battery-powered computer used by stockbrokers to manage and monitor stock transactions on the New York Stock Exchange trading floor.
This computer packages a great amount of technology in a housing that is extremely comfortable to hold and carry while maintaining a compact size. The minimal user controls create a strikingly simple interface, the soft curve of the back accommodates a wide range of hand sizes and the carrying straps innovative sliding system allows for the optimal balance for wearability and accessibility.
