Schott's CERAN EXCITE® product portfolio is a market-ready system solution series that enables household appliance makers to implement functional and aesthetic lighting solutions in the cooktop area. The portfolio consists of different glass-ceramic materials optimized for many light colors and functional coatings that accommodate sharp contours and allow brilliant colors to shine through black glass-ceramic cooktops. Key benefits for the product design include multi-colored lighting solutions across the entire cooktop, e.g. ambient lighting at the glass-ceramic edge, light-rimmed borders around heated areas, or monochrome and high-resolution TFT displays.
