Expo 2017 Astana: Korea Pavilion

Discipline: Communication

Under the theme of "future energy" at the Expo 2017 held in Astana, Kazakhstan, the Korea Pavilion presented solutions for future energy problems and showcased how the Republic of Korea is an energy powerhouse when it comes to new technologies. During the Expo, the Pavilion facilitated discussions about how to reduce CO2 emission and increase the use of eco-friendly energy, a serious issue for many nations, including Korea and Kazakhstan. The theme was developed through the Pavilion's forest with giant white trees, AR videos on iPads, spectacular live drawings, and animations with stage performances. The Pavilion's various components helped to connect the whole world to one future of new innovations for producing energy.
