Gapado is a small, flat and low-lying island with around 170 residents, located 5.5 km away from Korea’s Jeju Island. A project with the slogan "Change to Preserve" aims at promoting Gapado’s own unique sustainable ecosystem, where beautiful nature, a local economy and culture can coexist. The brand concept was inspired by the island’s flat shape when viewed from the sea, also capturing Gapado's landscape with a contrast of lines and blank spaces. Drawing from Gapado’s natural environment, the various signage elements, package design, souvenirs, etc., provide a consistent brand experience for visitors and residents alike.
