Trio is Korea’s first kitchen detergent brand. The packaging design aims to convey a sense of reliability, essential for a new product, as well as an authentic Korean branding. Koreans have developed a culture of consuming various fermented foods such as kimchi, alcohols, and sauces. To link with this culture, Trio has adopted exceptional fermented ingredients: grain, CheongJu (refined Korean wine) and vinegar. The container was designed as a modern version of a classic ceramic bottle, and the black and white illustrations intuitively represent the main ingredients while presenting a re-interpretation of tradition and Asian beauty.
