Spirit is a mental health application designed for the self-treatment of obsessive- compulsive disorder. The app offers guided tools for cognitive behavioral training. Users are gently exposed to their obsessions in the form of different monsters based upon an individual anxiety hierarchy. It details the main situations or sources of anxiety that trigger their obsessions and compulsive responses such as hand washing or compulsive counting. This treatment aims at helping users to gradually overcome the urge for compulsive responses to stimuli and reduce anxiety. Spirit enhances motivation by tracking progress of treatment.
