BIUM [ ;Black out ] / Smart device

BIUM [ ;Black out ]
BIUM [ ;Black out ]

‘BIUM’ means ‘emptiness’ in Korean, and this is a kind of Wi-Fi router that symbolizing and visualizing the spirit of Buddhism. I noticed the problem of 21st century that people are overloaded too much in digital environment, so I tried to make emptiness in their daily life by applying Buddhism practice. For being unconnected to the world and clear useless stuffs in mind like Buddhist doing, this Wi-Fi router is turned off by itself periodically for a moment. And I called this situation 'Black out'. BIUM looks like incense, which is turned on to make fresh and clear mind in Buddhism, and its lighting goes dark as data of router is used.
