Sutra Copying is an East Asia Buddhist spiritual practice. "bǐ" is designed specifically for writing Chinese calligraphy on a tablet. The cone-shaped tip mimics a bamboo brush's actual form. The flexible material and the engraved pattern allow the tip to bend in response to pressure. The more surface touching the tablet, the thicker the stroke one will make. The balance of both flexibility and resistance provides a good calligraphy writing experience. "bǐ" is an example of how technology could immerse tradition, religion and spirituality. Without paper or ink, it could help one to achieve the tranquility and purity in their own mind.
