Data Mortis / A device for those grieving in the digital era.

Data Mortis
Data Mortis

As more of our lives manifest themselves online, we rarely regard what happens to our data after we die. How do I pass down a record of my life to my grandchildren if my life is only documented through digital photos and a short-lived social media platform? Who will ensure my online accounts are in order when I am gone?

"Data Mortis" allows you to delete and store digital data to be passed on to loved ones at the end of your lifetime. This gives back ownership of data, and ensures our lives are responsibly archived beyond the capabilities of social media. The outcomes from this solution achieve greater comfort in modern day grieving.
