Float boards are used as tools for basic swim training, but how can they be used in broader waters while increasing safety? Float boards are not only used in swimming pools, and drowning incidents mostly occur in open waters. Not everyone in poor areas have access to a pool. Taking into account the objective of increasing beginners’ safety when they practice swimming, we designed the dual-use float board for life-saving and teaching with the purpose of making it both a training device and a life-saving equipment.
